I had my truck in at my regular mechanics 3 times for the same thing before coming to Precision. Precision fixed the problem first time. |

Overall I feel the quality of work and honesty of the people is a 5. My appointment was about a 1/2 hour delayed and the steering isn't perfectly centered, but that is difficult to get 100%. |

Impressive repair on my diesel pick-up. The computer displayed numerous unrelated codes but Precision figured it out. Billing was fair..... |

I took my car to Precision Alignment & Brake for the first time when it needed an alignment. I was very happy with customer services. I called after i left my car their that it needed some extra parts, so told them to go a ahead and put on any part that was needed. After about a month I decided to take my car in for timing belt change, they gave me quote and they started working on my car the very next day. After i took my car out of the shop it started to rough. I scanned the codes and it said that cylinder #2 has misfire. I took my car into shop right way and they said they were closing but they will look into it tomorrow. I lived just five minutes away and decided to drive home. I went home and changed my spark plugs and my coils and my car still had misfire. The next I took my car back to Precision Alignment and after i while I received a call saying that my injector was unplugged and when i went to pick up my car they blamed everything on me when I did not even say anything that it was their fault. They changed the timing belt that is for sure that was their fault and they unplugged the injector. If they could have admitted that it was their fault I was going to be more happy and still pay them their time that they had to spend on the car. They have lost all of my future business due to their dishonesty. I have worked on car and I what I am doing when I am working on a car. I work for a company where we have fleet cars I was thinking about thinking about bringing some of our fleet cars to their shop if they needed any work but the recent experience I had with them i changed my mind. |
Shop Comment We would be happy to show you why we thought that you unplugged it. You didn't mention that before you asked for the timing belt job, you had asked us to help you get the socket off of your spark plug. When we brought your vehicle in, it was running rough. You asked us to do the timing belt job, and we were hesitant because we did not think that would fix your problem of rough running. But you asked us to do the job, so we did and the job took until the end of the day. Jodie was working on it, and had to leave right at 5 pm, and the car was still running rough when he finished. The next day we ran the required tests to diagnose why cylinder 2 was misfiring, and ended up finding the fuel injector plug unplugged --- the fuel injectors are behind the spark plugs, nowhere near the timing belt/water pump area. It is not that easy to unplug an injector, you have to be trying to do that --- it could have been mistakenly unplugged the coils were replaced. |

$31 to change a license plate light bulb. Really??? You would think you should throw that one in there as they were both working before taking it there, or after spending hundreds of dollars at your garage, including the alignment that didn't have to be done. You act like this stupid out of province inspection is such a big deal here in Alberta. It's not, you have no idea what a real safety inspection is until you get one done in Manitoba, this here is a joke and so are the garages. |

The quality of service that used to be there in the past is no longer there. I'll not return back. |

Shop Comment Ajanpreet, we are very sorry to hear that you thought we were being dishonest with you about your fuel injector being unplugged. ...maybe we jumped to conclusions, but you can be certain that a trained technician would not unplug a fuel injector unless he intended to do so. Anyway, we would be happy to show you where that injector plug was unplugged in comparison with the area that we were working, because it is important to us that you don't think we are being dishonest as we have worked hard to build a reputation as an honest shop. Thanks for letting us know your thoughts and please drop by to discuss with Jodie, Scott or Carol @ Precision |
